Steps recorder is inbuilt tool in windows 7 and latest. We can user this tool to record with screenshots.
If there is some error/issue in application and if you use this tool to show us, it helps us to reproduce errors or issues exactly how you got those issues.
How to use this tool:
When there is issue or error you want to report to us.
- Go to windows and search steps recorder or type “psr”. You can see icon. Click on that icon to open.
- Once you open this window pops up.
- Click start recording and do all the steps on application which caused error or issue in application.
- Once issue or error appeared come back to steps recorder and click stop recorder.
- Then a new window opens up displaying steps with save icon. .
- Click save icon, save that file and send it to us in email with subject line containing “#encrypt”. By using this is subject line encrypts email and only receiver can open securely and view details.
